Introduction
There are moments in life when everything seems finished. The door has closed. The opportunity has passed. The relationship has broken. The money has run out. The doctor’s report is frightening. The dream you once carried feels buried under disappointment, delay, and pain.
In those moments, the enemy whispers, “It is over.”
But God says, “It is not yet over.”
The name Kesi Imekwisha means “the case is over” or “the matter is finished.” But in the hands of God, even what looks finished can become the beginning of a new testimony. What people call impossible, God calls an opportunity to reveal His power. What looks dead to human eyes can still carry life when God speaks.
Your situation may look impossible, but God is still working.
Bible Verse
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
Matthew 19:26
This verse reminds us that human limitations are not God’s limitations. What is impossible for people is not impossible for Him. When we reach the end of our strength, God has not reached the end of His power.
Reflection
Many times, we judge our future by what we see in the present. If today is painful, we assume tomorrow will be painful too. If a door closes, we assume no other door will open. If people reject us, we assume God has forgotten us.
But God does not work according to our emotions. He does not depend on what people say, what circumstances look like, or how long the problem has lasted. God works according to His purpose.
Think about Lazarus. He was not only sick; he died. His family cried. His body was placed in a tomb. To everyone around him, the story was finished. But Jesus arrived and proved that delay is not denial. He called Lazarus out of the grave, and what looked like an ending became a miracle.
Sometimes God allows a situation to reach a point where no one can take credit for the breakthrough except Him. He waits until human strength is gone, human wisdom is empty, and human options are exhausted. Then He steps in.
This does not mean waiting is easy. It does not mean pain is not real. Faith does not deny the facts. Faith simply believes that facts are not greater than God.
You may be tired. You may feel forgotten. You may have prayed and seen no change. But silence does not mean absence. God can be working behind the scenes, arranging people, preparing answers, strengthening your heart, and building a testimony that will one day encourage others.
The seed is hidden before it becomes a tree. The baby grows in secret before birth. The foundation is laid underground before the building rises. In the same way, God often does His deepest work in hidden seasons.
Do not confuse hidden work with no work.
God is still working.
Practical Encouragement
First, keep praying even when you do not feel strong. Prayer is not only for perfect moments. Sometimes the most powerful prayer is simple: “Lord, help me.” God hears short prayers, broken prayers, whispered prayers, and tearful prayers.
Second, guard your words. When life looks impossible, it is easy to speak defeat over yourself. Avoid saying, “Nothing will ever change” or “My life is finished.” Instead, declare, “God is still working. My story is not over. He will make a way.”
Third, take the next faithful step. You may not know the full plan, but you can do the next right thing. Make the call. Apply again. Apologize if needed. Rest if you are exhausted. Ask for help. Open your Bible. Show up one more day. Faith is often built through small steps of obedience.
Fourth, remember what God has already done. When fear speaks loudly, remind yourself of past victories. You have survived things you once thought would destroy you. You have walked through storms before. The same God who carried you then can carry you now.
Fifth, surround yourself with faith-filled voices. Not everyone can stand with you in difficult seasons. Some people will only magnify the problem. Find people who remind you of God’s promises, pray with you, and speak life when your own faith feels weak.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with the situations that look impossible in my life. You see every burden, every tear, every closed door, and every silent battle. Sometimes I feel tired, afraid, and unsure of what will happen next.
But today, I choose to believe that You are still working. I believe that what is impossible for me is possible with You. Strengthen my faith when I feel weak. Give me peace when I do not understand. Teach me to trust Your timing, even when I cannot see Your plan.
Lord, breathe life into what looks dead. Open doors that no one can shut. Heal what is broken. Restore what has been lost. Guide my steps and help me not to give up before the miracle comes.
I declare that my story is not over because You are still writing it.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Conclusion
It is not yet over.
The situation may look finished, but God has the final word. People may have counted you out, but heaven has not. The road may be difficult, but God can still make rivers in the desert and pathways in the wilderness.
Do not give up because of what you see today. Today is not the whole story. This chapter may be painful, but it is not the final page.
God is still working in the waiting. He is still working in the silence. He is still working in the disappointment. He is still working when nothing seems to change.
Hold on to faith. Keep walking. Keep praying. Keep believing.
The case is not closed until God says it is closed.
And with God, even the end can become a new beginning.
